The Economy
No item shop, no NPC hand-outs. Every dollar in Los Santos was earned, traded, stolen, or invested by another player — and every level of the economy sits on top of the one below it.
A Living, Player-Driven Economy
NeuroState is built like a persistent world, not a scripted city. There's no fixed price list handed down from above — prices, wages, and opportunity all move based on what players actually do. A shortage at one dealership raises prices at another. A busy weekend at a restaurant means better tips for staff on shift. A crackdown on one criminal network opens territory for someone else to move into.
Think of it less like a job board and more like a character sheet: everything you do — the job you clock into, the business you open, the property you buy — adds a new stat to your standing in the city. This page is the map of how those systems connect.
Money Making
There's no single "right" way to make money — most players run two or three of these at once.
Wages
Clock into a civilian or whitelisted career for steady, reliable income.
SteadyGig Work
Hunting, fishing, mining, trucking, and other solo grinds paid per unit of work.
FlexibleBusiness Profit
Own a storefront and earn from every sale after staff and supply costs.
ScalesCriminal Income
Higher ceiling, higher risk. See Criminal Progression for the full ladder.
High RiskTrading
Buy low, sell high — flip vehicles, property, and goods between players.
Player-Set PricesInvestment
Put capital into a business, dealership, or partner's venture for a cut of future profit.
Long-TermCareers
Every income path starts with a career choice. The full breakdown of civilian, emergency, and criminal careers lives on the Jobs page — here's how each one feeds the economy.
Civilian Careers
Hunting, fishing, mining, trucking, and other trades that supply raw goods and services to the city.
Emergency & Government
Whitelisted careers that circulate tax revenue and public contracts back into the economy.
Criminal Careers
Higher-risk income streams that move money outside the legal economy — until it gets laundered back in.
Businesses
Businesses are where individual income turns into an operation. See the full Businesses directory for active listings and categories.
Ownership
Buy in as a sole owner or partner with other players to split investment and profit.
Staffing
Hire other players, set wages, and build a crew that keeps the doors open without you.
Supply & Demand
Stock, pricing, and hours are all set by the owner — compete or corner the market.
Ownership
What you own is your character sheet made real. Every asset below is bought from another player, a dealership, or the city — never spawned in.
Real Estate

Vehicles
Placeholder — from starter compacts to hyper cars. See the full Vehicle Showcase.
Business Slots
Placeholder — a storefront, garage, or venue that generates passive income once staffed.
Bank Accounts
Placeholder — personal and business accounts for saving capital and moving it safely.

Wealth on NeuroState is built in stages, like leveling up a character. There's no cap — just a longer road the higher you climb.
